I don't have last gen but you should be able to play bots and be able to play zombies. Everything in zombies will be unlocked in local play though so you won't have the level system or any unlocks on guns to do. xGrass.

You can actually play offline in multiplayer while any mod is loaded. Create a “mod” folder in your black ops 3 folder, and create an empty “Offline MP” folder (or any name you like) in there. How to acess MP Offline (You can play with bots and splitscreen too): You've have to use Cheat Engine, open game (leave it open) and load its process and then search for the 'string' 'FRLobbyLANGame' right after the game loads at the Title screen and move all address it finds to the table so you can change all values from the address to 'MPLobbyLANGame' , it's done.

I don't have Xbox Live Gold (I'm aware this is the ps4 board) and so I play bots. We don't rank up, get upgrades, camos, loot boxes, xp, etc. I'm still grateful were able to play the MP portion with offline bots though. Pretty much every cod game has offline bots but none of the perks I've mentioned above.
Still wouldn't install past 3%. Tried to download the update for the game, but it tries to install first, but it won't install. I've hard reset, deleted the game. Cleaned cache. No matter what, my disc won't install. The disc is clean as can be. Not a single tiny smudge.
