Reddit 's largest subreddit dedicated to The Last of Us Part II has completely turned against the PS4 -exclusive sequel, and its users have hated the game for numerous reasons for a while. Normally, subreddits dedicated to and named for a single game are echo chambers of praise and optimism leading up to that title's launch and thereafter.

is as much a spoiler for part 2 as is a spoiler for part 1. Maybe it is more surprising and sad, but it is the start of the game, not the end. Absolutely it is still worth it. I bought it at the start of 2022 and played it for the first time after learning Joel died when it came out.

It’s worth a play, at this point I’d play Persona 5 Royal since it’s the same game with added content plus a longer post game story added to it. That said, Persona Q2 and Persona 5 Strikers were written off of the vanilla story. Last of us 1 was a masterpiece, it was an emotional story about two great characters. Last of us 2 in comparison ( just as great in my opinion) is dark, gritty and extremely tense. the tone of the game is way more mature and represents the characters experiencing way more complex emotions. Its a beautiful game, just be ready for it to be DIFFERENT.

Not worth it at all, in my opinion. I haven't been more deeply disappointed by a game in years. It doesn't do enough different from the first game to stand apart, so it comes up feeling worn and boring partway through. All you can do is run and hide, in such small spaces that there's usually only one place to do so.
It’s the best game ever made in my opinion, but yeah it’s best to play Part I before Part II, they’re essentials. Depends if you care about the story or not. You could probably figure it out if you played TLoU 2 without playing 1. But if you’re just looking for the gameplay, don’t bother with 1. Play last of us part 1.
5 Where Did Dina Go? Dina, out of nowhere, decided to go on a revenge trip with Ellie. They bond and are seemingly in love despite the gruesomeness they endure.
