May 31, 2012. #1. Just came across this item on Ebay. Was thinking about purchasing this tuning chip for my 300Tdi EDC Discovery. They say that the item can be returned if the customer isn't happy with the performance. Never heard of this manufacturer, I know that Tunit made chips for the same engine, but they were almost £400.
For the people simply wanting to swap in an engine like the 300TDI, what is the cost and what all will you have to do for the swap. Manual Gearbox - 2.5 litres of ATF Dextron 2, or MTF 94. Transfer box - 3 litres of EP 80w90. Axles - 2 litres of EP 80w90. Power steering - also uses ATF, but not sure on quantity.

Mar 23, 2016. #1. Hi there, I have a landrover 300 Tdi and its sole purpose is to drive in the bush in Zambia. Last year, the oil pump failed but the car continued to be used until the engine seized. The cylinder head and engine block were replaced and a new oil pump fitted (and several other major repairs done). Dec 10, 2019. #7. It will fit yes, it will bolt directly to the engine and your existing mounts. You wont need new props. If you use the disco gear sticks they’ll be further back, so you’ll need to cut into your seatbox. You can use your defender gear sticks by getting the adapter from ashcrofts. 3 bolts hold the pump and 3 for the pulley. ATF dexron 2 or 3 bout a Ltrs. Put on axel stands run the engine and go lock to lock a few times (will be a lol stiff at 1st. Then get someone to hold the steering on a lock and crack the bleed screw on top of the steering box (looks like a bleed nipple) (Mind all moving parts)

Infact you can fit a better one from MUD UK, which can fit a double din into. 300tdis are good engines, had loads of experience with them in the Army. You can tune with Turners performance head, 10bhp (ish), VNT or Hybrid turbo and a larger capacity intercooler.
